1. Vice-Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Research Fellowship

Eligibility:

• Early-career researcher with less than five years post-doctorate experience.
• Demonstrates an excellent track record, earning recognition both nationally and internationally.
• The proposed research project is strategically aligned with the objectives of the hosting University of Wollongong (UOW) faculty.

Fellowships offers:

• Fixed-term three-year appointment starting in the Level B salary range.
• Additional one-year Fellowship salary offered upon successful completion of the VC’s Fellowship, contingent on performance.
• Project costs support, with funding of up to $10,000 per annum for a three-year duration

2. Vice-Chancellor’s Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Early- Mid-Career Research Fellowship

Eligibility:

• Early or mid-career researcher with less than 10 years post-doctorate experience.
• Possesses an excellent track record, garnering recognition at both national and international levels.
• The proposed research project is strategically aligned with the objectives of the hosting University of Wollongong (UOW) faculty.

Fellowships offers:

• Fixed-term three-year appointment, initially within the salary range of Level B to Level C.
• Possibility of transitioning to a continuing position in the fourth year contingent on meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
• Project costs support with an allocation of up to $10,000 per annum for three years to facilitate research endeavors.
