The ‘Frontiers of Life Sciences’ International Undergraduate Summer Camp 2024, organized by Westlake University School of Life Sciences is an exciting 2-week program that brings together the brightest minds from across the world to learn from and share cutting-edge life science research and innovations.
The 2024 program will be taught by leading and internationally-renowned professors from top universities and institutions. About Westlake University
Westlake University is a private university in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. It was founded in October 2018.Westlake University ranked 84th in the world for Nature Index 2021 Young Universities (Leading 150 Young Universities) and 75th in China for Nature Index 2023. The proposal for the establishment of a private research university was submitted on March 11, 2015, by individuals from business and academia, including Shi Yigong, Chen Shiyi, and Pan Jianwei. This initiative led to the creation of WIAS on December 10, 2016 with Shi as president.

Aim and Benefits of Westlake University International Undergraduate Summer Camp Program
The program is tuition-free. Meals and accommodation for all the event activities will be provided. Westlake University will reimburse domestic students for second-class railway seats between domestic cities, and economy class seats for international students.

Requirements for Westlake University International Undergraduate Summer Camp Program Qualification
The program is available to undergraduate students who are majoring in biology or life sciences related fields, and currently in their College Junior (3rd year) or Senior year (4th year), or, who will be in their College Junior / Senior year starting Autumn 2024.
