  • Citizens of the Czech Republic, the European Union, and Czech Republic residents are not eligible.
  • Graduates of a Bachelor’s degree can apply for a follow-up Master’s Programme (instructions are offered in Czech) in specified areas of study, after completing a one-year preparatory course in Czech.
  • Holders of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree can apply for the Follow-up Master’s or
  • Doctoral programs, which are taught in English.
  • The university requires the entrance exam.
  • Specific language skills are required.

For general applicants, two copies of the following documents are necessary for each specific degree program:

For Master’s Degree Program:

  • Application form.
  • CV highlighting your educational background and professional experience.
  • A photocopy of your passport.
  • A declaration agreeing to the scholarship’s terms and conditions.
  • A declaration agreeing to the Health Services’ terms and conditions.
  • A statement of intent to return to your home country after completing your studies.
  • A certified copy of your birth certificate (translated into Czech).
  • A medical health certificate (issued within the last 2 months).
  • A legalized copy of your foreign diploma or Bachelor’s degree (with a certified translation into Czech).
  • A legalized copy of your diploma supplement or a list of completed subjects or examinations (with a verified Czech translation).
  • Additional information regarding the content of your foreign university education.

For Doctoral Study Program:

  • Application form.
  • CV showcasing your educational and work history.
  • Copy of your passport.
  • A declaration agreeing to the Health Services’ terms and conditions.
  • A statement of intent to return to your home country after completing your studies.
  • A certified copy of your birth certificate (translated into Czech).
  • A medical health certificate (issued within the last 2 months).
  • A legalized copy of your foreign diploma or Bachelor’s degree (with a certified translation into Czech).
  • A legalized copy of your diploma supplement or a list of completed subjects or examinations (with a verified Czech translation).
  • Additional information regarding the content of your foreign university education.
  • A summary of your publications.
  • An outline of the research topics you wish to explore.
  • A 3 to 5-page document brainstorming ideas for your dissertation thesis.
  • Two letters of recommendation from your teachers.

Essential Documents:

  • A declaration confirming acceptance of the scholarship’s terms and conditions.
  • A declaration confirming acceptance of the Health Services’ terms and conditions.
  • A commitment to return to your home country after your studies.
  • A certified copy of your birth certificate (translated into Czech).
  • A medical health certificate (not older than 2 months).

Two copies of each document listed against the specific degree are required for regular students of Czech Republic universities:

For Master’s Degree Program:

  • Form for applying.
  • CV showcasing educational and professional experience.
  • A copy of your passport.
  • Declaration of acceptance of the scholarship’s terms and conditions.
  • Declaration of acceptance of the Health Services’ terms and conditions.
  • Affirmation of intention to return to the native country after completing studies.
  • A certified copy of the birth certificate (translated into Czech).
  • Medical health certification (no older than 2 months).
  • Look into confirmation concerns at your own university.
  • Documents displaying your most recent research findings.

For the Doctoral Program:

  • Overview of the issues on which you want to focus your research.
  • Recommendation letter from your teachers or superiors.
  • Documents demonstrating your professional growth and scholarly or scientific research to date.

How to Apply

  • Students must apply online using the official website’s application form.
  • If possible, fill out the form using the Roman alphabet. Otherwise, you can fill it out in either English or Czech.
  • In the right corner, write the issued application identification number.
  • Place the photo where you want it.
  • Fill in the blanks as needed.
  • Upload a motivation letter expressing your desire to pursue the specific degree program.
