UNS is offering a scholarship program for international students in 2024.

The UNS Scholarship is available for all programs, with a limited quota specifically for programs within the Faculty of Medicine or Medical Sciences. Students are required to cover all additional fees and expenses, including accommodation, airfare, visas and immigration fees, meals, transportation, extra health insurance, and any other personal expenses.

Aim and Benefits of UNS Scholarship Program

  1. The UNS Scholarship Program offers a full scholarship which includes a tuition fee waiver, monthly living allowance, free Indonesian language course, and health insurance.
  2. The UNS Scholarship Program also provides a partial scholarship covering tuition fee waiver, free Indonesian language course, and health insurance.

To qualify for the UNS Scholarship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
– Be a non-Indonesian citizen
– Demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a bachelor’s degree at UNS – Be under 24 years old at the time of application
– Be available for a video call interview
– Not hold refugee status
– Have no felony convictions
– Have financial support
– Submit all required documents

In addition, applicants must demonstrate English proficiency by providing a TOEFL certificate with a minimum score of 450 for natural science programs and 500 for social science programs, or an equivalent score on other academic English proficiency tests. Those admitted to the program will also need to complete an Indonesian language course provided by UNS Language Centre, which is covered by the scholarship.

  2. Color scan of a valid passport with at least 18 months of validity (cover page & identity page)
  3. Certificate of graduation from your most recent educational institution (in English or Indonesian)

  5. Recent health certificate (in English or Indonesian)
  6. Curriculum Vitae (template provided)
  7. Financial statement (template provided)
  8. Personal statement (template provided)
  9. Certificate of Indonesian language proficiency (preferred)
  10. Certificate of English language proficiency
  11. Letter of recommendation #1, from a lecturer/professor or work supervisor (for master and doctoral programs)
  12. Letter of recommendation #2, from a lecturer/professor or work supervisor (for master and doctoral programs)
  13. Preliminary research proposal for the doctoral program
